RENTAL HOUSING & PROPERTY MAINTENANCE INSPECTIONS

City of Lisbon adopts Rental Code and Property Maintenance Code.

To ensure the public health, safety and welfare of the citizens of Lisbon, starting October 15, 2022, residential rental properties will be required to be registered and pass a bi-annual inspection.  The City will also adopt and implement the International Property Maintenance Code.  Inspections will be performed by the Linn County Planning & Development Department.  Linn County will ensure minimum levels of health and safety are maintained by the owner, owner's authorized agent or operator as required by the Code.
