The Lisbon Fire Department is a volunteer department located at

115 N Washington, in the same building as City Hall.

Lisbon Fire covers approx. 40 square miles including Linn, Jones,

Cedar, and Johnson Counties. Members include firefighters, EMTs,

Paramedics, RNs.

The Lisbon Mount Vernon Ambulance Service provides emergency medical services over a 150 square mile area, which includes a population of more than 6,000. The service operates two fully equipped ambulances and is licensed by the State of Iowa at the EMT-P level - minimal staffing. We have been in continuous operation since July, 1974, transporting about 350+ patients annually.
