The fire siren will blow on  occasion for emergency. This is due to part-time emergency personnel  who  do  not have pagers, but are available to answer emergency situations. This consists of the siren blowing up and down 10 times.

At times residents  may hear the siren being blown in Mt.Vernon or one located in the Sutliff area. Mt.Vernon’s test is held on Wednesday mornings and Sutliff siren is controlled by Johnson County.

Remember to go to Lisbon City Hall, in the Council chambers, during weather emergencies.
