Comprehensive Plan

The City of Lisbon, in conjunction with the East Central Iowa Council of Governments, completed an agreement to develop a Comprehensive Plan that would provide essential information for the planning efforts of the City. The Plan include land use policies and objectives. It serves as a coordinated guide for continued planning and development in order to manage growth and make the most efficient use of the City's resources.  A town meeting was held along with numerous public meetings with the Planning and Zoning Commission. The theme of the plan centered around maintaining the small town atmosphere with controlled growth. A copy of the plan can be seen at the link below.
